Professional Experience
Dr. S. Ramasamy completed his MBBS from JJMMC Davangere, Karnataka before moving to the USA to pursue higher studies. He worked as a Non-Invasive Cardiology Research Resident at Porchester University, NY, and Stony Brook, NY (1998-2002), where he honed his expertise in non-invasive cardiology.
He then went on to complete his Ph.D. in Cardiology from the prestigious Chettinad University, Chennai. His education and experience have made him one of the most sought-after specialists in the field of non-invasive heart care.
Currently, Dr. Ramasamy serves as the CEO of Vaso-Meditech Heal Your Heart EECP Centers, one of the largest non-invasive cardiac care chains worldwide. He is also the Chairman and Founding Member of the International Cardiology EECP Society (ICES), which includes renowned cardiologists and cardio-thoracic surgeons from both the USA and India.
Dr. Ramasamy has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship in Clinical Cardiology (FCC) and the Fellowship in Chest Medicine (FCCP) from USA, along with being awarded the Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
He has authored an internationally recognized textbook on EECP, followed worldwide as a standard textbook, and has contributed to several chapters in cardiology textbooks. Dr. Ramasamy has published over 50 original research articles in peer-reviewed cardiology and hypertension journals.
Dr. Ramasamy has delivered more than 100 lectures on the management of refractory angina and heart failure at various academic institutions worldwide, spreading knowledge and awareness about non-invasive heart treatments.
